Clear and Cold

The four foot plus and rising high tide is swamping most the spots this morning. The farshore buoy is showing a 9'@19 seconds NW pulse, but that's not translating into many surfable waves. The nearshore buoy is showing less than half of what the farshore is showing.

Water temps are getting cold. Air temps are near frigid. WT at the farshore buoy is registering 52 degrees, AT is at 50. Meanwhile at the Point, AT is 37 degrees this morning at 7AM. I don't know much about La Nina and El Nino except that La Nina is cold and El Nino is warm.

Bienvenidos La Nina! Hoods, booties and gloves.
